Welcome New Turner Assistant Principal
As the new Assistant Principal at Turner Elementary School, Kelly Reinmann brings with her 15 years of elementary school teaching experience and 2 years of administrative experience. Kelly holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from National Louis University. She earned a Master’s Degree and her principal endorsement from Concordia University.
In her current role as 6th grade Dean at Leman Middle School, Kelly promotes positive student behavior and attendance, provides professional development to teachers and staff, and supports teaching and learning.
Prior to her work in D33, Kelly was a third and fourth grade teacher in Medinah District 11. In addition to her work with students in the classroom, she participated in committees responsible for the evaluation and selection of curriculum programs for Math, Reading and Science, and facilitated the training of teachers in the new curriculum and standards.
Kelly has lived in several states, but has lived in the Chicago area for many years. She currently resides in a busy household in Glen Ellyn with her husband, who is a high school teacher, their three children, and a dog. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, attending her children’s activities, reading, traveling, and watching University of Georgia football games.
Kelly is excited to draw upon her elementary school and administrative experience to serve the Turner school community.
