Illinois Report Cards

The Illinois State Board of Education has an online report card which is designed to be user-friendly for parents.

The new report card:

• Reflects each school’s academic performance, climate, and learning conditions as well as extracurricular activities, special programs, honors and awards
• Emphasizes measuring student and school progress rather than merely providing a one-time snapshot of annual standardized test scores
• Aims to better inform everyone, from families and educators to policy makers and students themselves
• Highlights important college readiness benchmarks in both reading and math
• Displays more elements about daily school life, including school leadership, extracurricular activities, honors and awards that distinguish each school
