New Community School Administrator

Ms. Tiffany Posey, Community School Administrator

We are excited to welcome Ms. Tiffany Posey, the new Community School Administrator for District 33. Ms. Posy most recently served as the Family Engagement Coordinator for Chicago Public Schools working with the Office of Early Childhood. In this role, she supported just over 30 schools and their pre-K programs in her network, with their Community & family engagement efforts for Early Childhood families. Her collaborations entailed working with other CPS departments as well as city-wide and state agencies to build the school's capacity to provide resources for admins, students and families overall. She has been with Chicago Public Schools for over 10 years, in additional roles such as a Children & Family Benefit Coordinator and Family Resource Specialist with the STARNET Grant under the Office of Diverse Learners and Support Services. Prior to her time at CPS, she also worked as a Parent Educator with the Non-Profit Organization Christopher House.

Tiffany has extensive background knowledge in both education, family/community engagement, and support services overall which includes delivering high-impact trainings and presentations to faculty, staff, students, and families. In addition, she has worked hard over the years to forge strategic partnerships both statewide & locally, allowing for collaboration with cross-functional organizations to promote the well-being of all professionals and educators working within the school system and their students and families. Most recently Tiffany was selected as the 2022 -2023 Maria Whelan Leadership Institute (“MWLI”) Early Childhood Emerging Leaders Fellow. This fellowship selects individuals whom they believe are Emerging Early Childhood Leaders within the state of Illinois that could enhance their work professionally and civically.

Tiffany holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Studies from Denison University with a Concentration in Community Organization & Business. As well as a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from North Park University. She is a proud mom of 15yr old teenage twin boys and a 6yr old daughter.

Tiffany’s immediate goal is to learn a great deal more about West Chicago and its schools’ communities. Above all, she is excited and has a strong desire to begin being an integral part of the cultivation, dedication, and hard work of the District 33 Administration team.
