College/University Education and Related Experience:
Anthony holds a Bachelors in Elementary Education (K-9) with a specialization in mathematics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He holds a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an ESL endorsement as well as a second Masters in Principal Preparation from Concordia University Chicago.
Anthony has spent 11 years as a classroom teacher in Villa Park School District 45. In his tenure, he has been a contributing member to the District Leadership Team, School Leadership Team, Math Leadership Team, and the PBIS Team. He has presented over 20 professional learning opportunities at the school and district levels. He is currently co-authoring a blog that focuses on research-based instructional strategies proven to have high effect sizes on student achievement.
What is his passion?
Anthony is passionate about leading a change process through system organization and sustainability measures. He is passionate about educating the whole child and empowering teachers to cultivate their skills while facilitating the growth of all learners they serve.
What does he look forward to most?
Anthony looks forward to building relationships with the Leman Middle School students, staff, and the District 33 community. He is excited to begin collaborating and working toward school and district goals.
