Janet Gruenwald is currently the principal at Reskin Elementary in Marquardt District 15. She began her career as an Early Childhood and 2nd grade teacher, transitioned to an Instructional Literacy Coach role, and was an Assistant Principal and Director of the Early Learners Program in Deerfield 109 before moving to her current role in District 15. Janet has a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, obtained her National Board Certification, and has a Master’s Degree in both Reading and Educational Leadership. Outside of work, Janet focuses on spending time with family and loves reading and catching the latest movies. She is incredibly excited to become a part of District 33 and work with the amazing staff, students and families at Wegner.
