adult ESL (English as a Second Language)
District 33 collaborates with Literacy DuPage to provide English as a second language classes, which increases parent involvement and active participation. This parent/guardian engagement opportunity fosters the opportunity for parents and guardians to actively participate in their children's educational experiences by supporting their abilities in communicating with school staff, attending school events, and understanding school. Classes occur twice a week for two semesters during the school year and are taught by Literacy DuPage staff members.
