Who needs to verify residency?
Residency verification is required for:

New students

Kindergarten

3rd grade
-
6th grade
Families must provide documents showing they live within District 33 boundaries.
What all documents must include
All documents must:

Be in the name of the adult registering the student
-
Show the address where the student lives
-
Be dated within the last 60 days
-
Include the business name and logo
-
Come from different sources
New & Kindergarten Students
Illinois law requires families to present an original or certified copy of the student’s birth certificate
(or passport/visa if a birth certificate is not available) in person during Step 2 of registration.
If you own or rent your home
Please provide two (2) documents:

One (1) from Category A
-
One (1) from Category B
If you live with someone who owns or rents the home
Please provide three (3) documents:

One Residency Notarized Statement signed by the property owner

One Category A document in the property owner’s name

One Category B document in the property owner’s name

Families in Temporary Living Situations
If your family:

Does not have a permanent residence, or
-
Is living in a shelter, hotel, campground, or similar situation, or
-
Is temporarily sharing housing due to hardship
