Community

All clients are greeted by a WeGo Together Community Market volunteer or staff who will answer questions, explain our process and provide you with a cart. You are then free to choose the foods you want from our selections that week. We sometimes have boxes and plastic bags available, but we encourage you to bring your own grocery bags when possible

Community Market services are available to all families living in West Chicago, particularly serving families with children ages 0-18. Each household may receive food once a week during the Tuesday market. We encourage our guests to take the amount of food their family can use for that week.

New clients are asked to provide the following:

• Proof of address
• Photo ID

The following information will be requested of new clients:

• Name and date of birth of all family members in the household
• All forms of income such as jobs, child support, disability
• Rent or mortgage monthly payment amount
• SNAP status

For existing clients, we ask for proof of address and PRC card every visit.
