Coordinator of Student
Kallsrom has 14 years of experience with 6 years as a special education
administrator (2 years elementary and 4 years middle school), 1 year as a
general education assistant principal, and 7 years as a special education
teacher in elementary. His education consists of a Bachelor in Education, Type
75 Administration, and an endorsement for Director of Special Education.
Mr. Kallstrom served as an executive board member of the Illinois Alliance of
Administrators of Special Education as well as the Region II Representative for
the IAASE (northwest region of Illinois). He has organized
statewide professional development of special education across the
region. He believes strongly in building positive relationships with all
stakeholders and that all students have the ability to learn. Mr. Kallstrom is
married and has two daughters, one dog, and two cats. He enjoys golfing
and bowling. He is able to solve the RUBIX cube and would be willing
to teach you how.
