West Chicago Elementary School District 33’s Board of Education announced tonight at the regularly scheduled board meeting that it has selected Brenda Vishanoff as the next assistant principal of preschool. She will be joining assistant principal Heather Santiemmo and principal Sandy Warner.
Vishanoff has lived in West Chicago for the past 24 years. Her three children, Rebekah, Joshua, and Benjamin, attended D33 schools- ELC, Gary, and Leman Middle School. Brenda and her husband Bob are currently quarantining with their 3 children, 2 international host kids, and dog.
Brenda has a deep love for our community and heart for West Chicago residents. She has served on the D33 Board for the past 12 years and deeply believes in District 33’s mission and vision. Brenda has a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Johns Hopkins University, a Master’s degree in Horn performance from Northwestern University, and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Aurora University. Brenda recently earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northern Illinois University.
