Lessons & Resources for Students

e-Learning/e-Caring plans, designed by lead teachers and coaches, begin and are used to encourage student engagement, extend learning opportunities to students, and maintain home and school connections

Enhanced E-Learning plans designed by teacher teams in buildings are used that allow for differentiation, alignment to focus standards district-wide, and extension of ARC and Eureka curriculum

Resources Available

6th-8th Chromebooks

PreK-5th Limited Tech Access and paper copies of plans

K-8th Device access

Limited paper copies to families that were identified through communication by school

Teacher Contact Hours

Unspecified hours (Act of God Days from March 18th - April 7th)

Beginning April 8th, 9:00-2:00 teacher/student contact hours, additional 2 hours per contract is spent planning, serving on committees, attending other meetings (such as IEPs)

Schedule for Students

Students were given the option to complete 6 activities from a Choice Board that included all content areas, specials and Social/Emotional Learning. 

Mondays are focused on SEL activities to get students ready for learning for the week

Tuesday and Thursday (A Days) 

    Elementary - Math, PE/Health, Music

    Middle School - Math, Social Studies, Exploratories

Wednesday and Friday (B Days) -

    Elementary -  English Language Arts, Library, Art

    Middle School - English Language Arts, Science, Health/PE

Schedule for Teachers

Teachers engaged students in online activities across all content areas 

Teachers focused instruction on specific content areas based on a weekly schedule with Monday being focused on SEL to prepare students for learning for the week and balancing the remaining content areas between the remaining five days of the week

Engagement

Teachers encouraged engagement by connecting with students and families, facilitating learning activities through technology and pre-printed packets by grade level

Teachers will provide continuity of learning by continuing with thematic ARC labs for English and Spanish Language Arts and Eureka Math modules while aligning instruction to district-wide focus standards
