As a result of the 3 days students were not in attendance during the labor work stoppage, the Board of Education, at its February 21, 2013 meeting amended the 2012-2013 school calendar. Per school code District 33 must make up the 3 days which will be extended at the end of the school year. The last day of student attendance is now Friday, June 14, 2013. The last week of school is amended as follows:
Monday - Thursday, June 10 to 13, 2013 - students are in attendance all day
Friday, June 14, 2013 - students are in attendance 1/2 day due to a teacher inservice day - this is also the last day of school
