Math Club
Do you love math? Are you a mathematical wizard? Do you have crazy math skills? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then join the math team! You’ll work with other students who also feel passionately about math while competing in regional math competitions!

If you would like to become a member of the math team, please attend a brief informational meeting on Wednesday, September 10th at 2:30 p.m. in room E2058. If you are interested in becoming a member of the math team but cannot attend this meeting, please see Mr. Wollenzien before school, during your TAP or lunch, or after school by Wednesday, September 10th.

Leman Middle School’s math team is catered to students to have a passion for mathematics, possess superior mathematical abilities, and enjoy academic competitions. While math team is open to all sixth, seventh, and eighth graders, only ten students are able to attend each area competition. Students who elect to become members of Leman Middle School’s math team will have practice on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays during 6th, 7th, 8th, and/or 9th period(s). Practices will be held in order to hone students’ abilities for regional mathematics competitions at St. Francis High School in December and Marmion Academy in March. Both of these competitions will be held on Saturdays. Please contact Mr. Wollenzien at [email protected] or (630) 293 – 6060 Ext. 2058 with any questions.
