MAP Testing Troubleshooting

IF THE STUDENT HAS NOT BEGUN THE TEST AND...

Student's computer says "Confirmed" Teacher's computer says "Awaiting Student"

The teacher has two options:

1.  Wait for the system to refresh

2.  Terminate the student's test.  Student needs to close the lockdown browser and restart the log-in process.

IF THE STUDENT HAS BEGUN THE TEST AND...
Student's computer presents an error message. Teacher's computer says "Testing."

-Teacher needs to "Suspend" the student.

-To do so click on the box next to the student's name and from the action menu select "Suspend" and click on "Go."

-Once the student's status reads "Suspended," make sure the student is selected and then from the action menu select "Test Again" and click on "Go."

-The student's status should then read "Awaiting Student."  From there they log into the test again.

-When the proctor attempts to confirm the student, they will be asked if the student should resume or start again.

Student's computer freezes during the test. Teacher's computer says "Testing."

-Click on the box next to the frozen student's name.  In the action menu, select "Pause" and click "Go."

-The student's status should now say "Paused."  The student's computer should then display the paused screen (If the student's computer does not display the paused screen, begin the process explained above in the "Student's computer presents an error message.)

-Click on the student's name again and select "Resume" and click "Go."
