Students at Indian Knoll attend art class once a week for 45 minutes.  Lessons introduce the language of the elements and principles of design, work with a variety of art mediums,  and acquaint students with a variety of artist, artworks and cultures.

Pinwheels for Peace

This was the ninth year Indian Knoll art classes participated in Pinwheels for Peace, an installation art project celebrating International Peace Day, September 21. Every student designed a pinwheel with colors and symbols of peace.  On September 21 students "planted" their pinwheels near the flagpole.  Mrs. Kimmel, the music teacher led songs to complete our celebration.
